lyrics
Deeper the wounds must be!
Harder the pain must feel!
And so the end begins as we gather
We lash our veins to pour joyful drops!
We burn our skin to make it ashes!
In utmost of fervors we drive ourselves
Into pain and pleasure!
Her Will, the drive of this moment
Our beings, the offering for peace
Revel in our screams as we turn to you
Behold! Rejoice! As we reach Your arms!
Oh Pale Visage, we give ourselves to Thee!
Every wound that we carry
Is for Thee, Oh Maternal being
As our wounds are fresh and cleansed in salt
We crawl like worms as our pain becomes mirth
While our bodies melt, we become your effigy
And our jaws dislodge in joyful screams
Of Despair! Longing for The End
As we beg for Your embrace
Wipe our tears, heals us
Bring us peace...
And thus, we usher ourselves in Her Paradise
Where fear and pain become naught
Where both weak and strong, young and old
Rest forevermore.
Let our pleas be the fire that blaze us before thee
May our bodies, bleeding, be the evening offering
Let the cold, that will grace us from this act,
Become the warmth of Her Embrace...
One of the bands (and albums) that got me into death metal to begin with. Possibly the best this band has done and a must-have for fans of extreme metal. Umbra
Perhaps the most extreme record ever conceived. Chaotic, pulverizing, unhinged and with some excellent lyrics that question and praise above and below. Umbra
While all Nuclear Death albums are disturbing in their own right, there is something really "off" with this one in particular. Drenched in horror, it is among the best death metal ever made Umbra

I find the first indication that an album is good is the moment when you are surprised to find that once the album is played in its entirety. Good album and a really wonderful cover artwork zelenico

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
